ENROLLMENT

To enroll, please send:

• completed enrollment agreement

• affirmation of keyboarding skills of at least 25 wpm

• check or money order payable to the StenoMax Institute in the amount of $670 for beginning students or $430 for transfer students

• photocopy of driver’s license or other picture ID

• copy of diploma or transcript to show graduation from high school (or GED) or college; for transfer students, a copy of court reporting school transcript

Transfer students should indicate the speeds at which they would like to start on literary, jury charge, and two-voice testimony.  They can always augment the initial group of tapes sent with additional desired material at higher or lower speeds to provide the right mix to maximize progress through the program.   

A student may enroll on the first or fifteenth of any month.  In order to ensure that the appropriate home study materials arrive on or before the intended start date, StenoMax needs to receive the items listed above two weeks prior to that date.
